Auski is Australia’s oldest and longest established snow retail store opening in 1949, located in the prestigious Hardware Lane precinct in Melbourne city, Victoria. As one of the biggest winter sports retailers in Australia, they help tens of thousands of Aussie enjoy the great outdoors.

The Challenge

With underperforming sporadic emails, open rates of 5-15% and monthly revenue under $10k, Auski Australia tasked Pink Lemonade to help improve results in open rates through content lead email marketing with a focus on consumer profiles, audiences and interest based emails.

The Execution

After thorough audience and topic research, email content plans were established, audiences were segmented and a range of brand, sales and interest emails were delivered to a range of audiences. Email flows were also updated and created to increase revenue and capitalise on website actions.

The Result

Over the course of 3-6 months, average open rates increase to 20-30%, with click-through rates increasing to between 10-20%, and delivering average monthly revenue of $40k+ with one month achieving a staggering $120k from email marketing.

The Client

Gioia was founded in 2018 with a mission to make artful living easy. Gioia work with emerging and well-known artists to deliver an ever-growing range of art prints.

The Challenge

Gioia Wall Art engaged Pink Lemonade to create, design and deploy sales and engagement related emails bi-monthly, as well as re-designing and fixing up email workflows.

The Execution

A range of brand and engagement related emails were created to engage the Gioia audience and entice them to browse or buy without relying on discount codes or offers, this was done through beautifully designed emails correlating to an analysis of most items added to wishlists and product collections with the most add to cards. Workflows were similarly updated in look and feel as well as providing informative and engaging content aimed at driving users to the site.

The Result

One month after fixing the welcome series and abandon cart email workflows there has been an average 16% increase in revenue from flows month on month as well as an increase of Click Rate from 5.26% to 29%. Email results show an increase in open rates from 16.04% to 22.65% and an increase in click rate from 3.96% to 5.15%.
