Metro Hobbies is Melbourne’s largest toy, game & hobby shop with an online hobby store offering fast delivery.

The Challenge

The challenge for Pink Lemonade was to implement paid social campaigns for an underperforming category and deliver a ROAS of at least 4.

Tailored Facebook & Instagram paid campaigns were developed focusing on a range of product categories, with mobile optimised video created from static imagery, and then used across full-funnel social campaigns.

The Result

In the first month, the new campaigns spent $400 to generate 89 purchases, with a ROAS of 30. The success lead to an increase in budget, ads and scaling of the social campaigns as well as campaigns for other product categories. Every month, the paid social campaigns have maintained a minimum ROAS of 30 whilst scaling budgets, and increasing sales and revenue.

Impos provides Australia’s Leading Hospitality POS System. Impos is currently installed in more than 2,500 hospitality venues across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. With offices in all major Australian capital cities, Impos has a dedicated team of professionals helping venues thrive.

The Challenge

Impos set the challenge to achieve greater than 20 leads (their average for monthly social campaigns) for their POS systems with a CPA under $50 to help kick off the new financial year.

The Execution

New video and GIF content was created to run across a range of Facebook and Instagram campaigns focusing on select audiences and demographics for potential customers. The campaigns worked by using different creative and focusing on USPs for select audiences to drive sign ups through downloadable content and guides.

The Result

In one month, with a budget of $430, the campaigns delivered 67 viable leads with a CPA of $6.46, reaching 12,000 targeted users. The campaign has lead to the development of further content, shifting the brand to a content-first approach.

The company set out to create a luxury line of Certified Organic, Vegan, and Naturally-Derived Beauty Care that will outperform established natural cosmetic performance criteria.

The Challenge

Origani set the challenge to improve on their previous agencies performance and increase paid social results for eCommerce sales to a minimum of 4:1 ROAS targeting skincare users in Australia.

The Execution

Facebook and Instagram paid campaigns were created with the aim of driving awareness as well as conversions from the target audience across Australia, as well as creating clear user journeys and conversion funnels. A major part of the strategy was to find and convert new audiences that were unaware of the brand. The campaigns used a range of ads including banner, video and story ads. Limited by creative, a range of ad types and media types were used to deliver results without the overheads of creating new content.

The Result

By the second month of management, sales and purchase conversion value increase ten fold, with an average ROAS of 21 to 1 with 70% off all purchases from new customers.

Good Games, is Australian owned and operated with over 25 stores Australia-wide, with one of the largest selections of Board Games, Party Games and Family Games in Australia

The Challenge

Good Games Australia approached Pink Lemonade with the challenge of driving awareness and sales for their major product release of the year, with a focus on driving pre-orders, via social media and email marketing.

The Execution

A cross-channel strategy was created to drive traffic to a dedicated landing page, pre- campaign launch, to capture a new audience and allow retargeting for conversions during campaign launch. Social media video and traffic ads were created for pre-campaign, with a series of emails designed and multi-funnel social ads for campaign launch.

The Result

The two awareness emails generated above-average open and click rates (20.9% compared to 13.3%), and generated $11k in pre-order revenue.
The pre-campaign social campaigns generated a total of 95 purchases, totalling $11,600 in sales; a total campaign average return on ad spend of 29.38, reaching an audience of over 28k, with an average CTR of 5.31% and 1,706 landing page views. Signing on with Pink Lemonade, Good Games in their second month achieved even greater results with a total ROAS of 37.59 and 538 purchases, an increase of 350.

Auski is Australia’s oldest and longest established snow retail store opening in 1949, located in the prestigious Hardware Lane precinct in Melbourne city, Victoria. As one of the biggest winter sports retailers in Australia, they help tens of thousands of Aussie enjoy the great outdoors.

The Challenge

Auski set the challenge to create a range of paid social campaigns over a 6- week period during off-peak season to drive conversions for a range of products across multiple product categories. The aim was to achieve 60+ purchases with a minimum ROAS of 8.

The Execution

Facebook and Instagram paid campaigns were created with the aim of generating purchases as well as using branding awareness campaigns and evergreen campaigns to expand custom audiences and potential customer databases. The campaigns used a range of ads including banner, carousel, collection and video ads.

The Result

In the 6-week campaign period, a total of 218 purchases were made with an average Cost Per Purchase of $7.79, generating over $60k in revenue.

An average ROAS of 39.03 was generated, with some targeting reaching as high 70.28 ROAS.

The campaign became the best performing campaign in their history, with data helping shape future digital marketing campaigns and product focus for sales.

Paid Social campaigns during 2020 delivered nearly two-thirds of the brand’s revenue, surpassing their revenue goal for the year by 23%, in a year without snow or travel.
